Biography
Kent started playing guitar at the age of 12, taking lessons for 3 years. He played professionally in bands during the early 70's but left the stage in 1976 to start a family. Finally in 1994, he discovered the wonderful world of Open Mics and Jam Nights. One night while playing drums, he was asked to join the band Loose Change, with guitarist Doug Schilling, then they developed the band Hot Cotton. While playing drums in Hot Cotton from 2004-2009, he started playing solo guitar gigs and he and Doug starting a guitar duo called 2Tone. In mid 2009, Hot Cotton disbanded and along with guitarist Chris Lombardo and bassist Al Dettlings, The Break Evn Band was born. After bassist Stephanie Lee played for about a year,
bassist Dan Rubel is currently laying down the groove with Break Evn!

So, if you are looking for a classic rock bandĀ
or justĀ Kent by himself...look no further!

What sets Kent apart from other acoustic performers is the high energy he
brings to each performance. He plays songs from artists people know but
tries to find the more unique songs other cover artists fail to play. He can
observe the audience he has and tailors his songs to that audience.
